Giunge al suo ultimo mese l'incredibile serie on-line Head of Books che Eugene Chadbourne ha intrapreso a partire dall'ormai lontano ottobre 2021, offrendo ogni giorno un suo brano chitarristico a beneficio di ascoltatori e sostenitori iscritti all'iniziativa. Le pubblicazioni terminano il prossimo 3 gennaio, rimangono pochi giorni perciò per rendersi conto di cosa si tratta. Qualcuno intanto ha tenuto il conto di quanto pubblicato finora (e di quanto ancora rimane): "With doubles, we’re now almost at 1200 solos - with more than one month to go until the end of the project, the number of solos has already exceeded the number of days of the project’s total duration, so now all the tracks are bonus! So far, not counting the double solos sent, the project’s duration is 6 days and 17 hours, with another 7 hours of music by the end of the year it will reach the week of duration."
Head of Books is an ongoing, daily program of access to newly recorded guitar solos. No objects. No titles. Free if you want, although donations of any size are happily accepted. Write eugene@eugenechadbourne.com and provide an active email address. If you are donating, you can paypal whatever amount you would like to enter into the Head of Books to the same email address. If you do that, there will be a record of your email available from that transaction. Paid or free, you will begin receiving guitar solos in email and download files, sometimes on a daily basis. Sometimes you will be the only person receiving the solo. Please join in on my latest goal, to record a guitar solo every day until the beginning of 2025.
