Davvero un grandissimo onore per Dylan Howe - figlio del chitarrista Steve Howe - avere ospite Robert Wyatt in occasione del concerto tenuto dal suo quintetto a Lincoln, nel Lincolnshire, lo scorso 22 settembre. Wyatt si è unito al gruppo per cantare Round Midnight, di Thelonious Monk. Come si sa, Wyatt non saliva su un palcoscenico per cantare da molti molti anni. Così spiega il fatto lui stesso: "It's the first time I'd sung live in 25 years! I just felt it. If I don't have time to think about it, then I can just sneak up on myself and do it, I suppose! It was great fun, I was even thinking of sitting in on the last number too." Un evento a sorpresa, destinato a suo modo a rimanere nella storia, e di cui non c'era ovviamente traccia nelle pubblicità del concerto (ad esempio in http://tinyurl.com/ytvld2).
Nel quintetto, ora in procinto di cambiare composizione, erano Chris Hill (basso), Ross Stanley (piano), Quentin Collins (tromba) e Brendon Allen (sassofono tenore), oltre al batterista Howe.
