Al Cafe Oto londinese nell'ambito dei tre giorni dedicati a Peter Brötzmann c'è in programma sabato mattina un incontro con Markus Müller, autore del monumentale FMP - The Living Music (Wolke Verlag, 2022) sulla storia dell'etichetta berlinese - con completa documentazione delle attività svolte tra il 1968 e il 2010 e con Brötzmann ovviamente tra i principali protagonisti - oltre che curatore delle esposizioni sul tema allestite qualche anno fa a Monaco e a Berlino.
Markus Müller presents his landmark book FMP - The Living Music including archive images, rare videos and previously unpublished FMP-recordings, followed by a Q&A. FMP - The Living Music illuminates four decades of activity by FMP, arguably the most important vehicle for recordings of free improvisation that Europe has ever known. Clocking in at 400 pages, drawing on unrestricted access to the labels' archives and artists, this stunning volume contains more than 300 illustrations - many being previously unpublished documents and photographs - and delves into the incredible ideas, subjects, and activities that made it the astounding collective home that it was.
